The Feldenkrais Method® is a life-changing practice of learning through movement. By unwinding our habitual patterns of moving, thinking, and feeling, we open to new, more connected ways of being with ourselves and the world.

When I discovered The Feldenkrais Method® in 2010, I believed hip replacement surgery was in my near future. After my first hands-on Feldenkrais lesson, however, not only was the pain in my hip (and neck, and shoulders…) gone, I experienced a deeply satisfying ease and fluidity in my movements, state of mind, and mood. I have been a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner® since 2014, and I am eager to share what I have learned with you!
Nothing is permanent about our behavior patterns, except our belief that they are so.

New York Times science writer Jane E. Brody wrote about her experience with The Feldenkrais Method® to address her back and hip pain:
“After two hourlong sessions focused first on body awareness and then on movement retraining at the Feldenkrais Institute of New York, I understood what it meant to experience an incredible lightness of being. Having, temporarily at least, released the muscle tension that aggravates my back and hip pain, I felt like I was walking on air.”
